Steve’s guest in the January edition of Birmingham Now will be Sutton Coldfield actor and film producer Patrick Carney, whose crime drama Hello Darlin’ — directed by Gary Delaney — scooped the award for best overall film at the recent Birmingham Film Festival. We were over at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall yesterday morning, filming Des Tong and Gary James the main section of Birmingham Now‘s January edition (which will be available from 27 December, the perfect tonic if you’re bored with Xmas repeats — on the telly, that is, rather than from too much turkey).
